This intense, fruit driven wine was produced from grapes selected from the most outstanding block of Chardonnay on the family’s vineyard. The 2004 vintage provided wonderfully cool conditions, which allowed the grapes to reach full maturity, whilst retaining fantastic acid. Partial barrel fermentation in new French Oak barriques has resulted in a wine showing an abundance of tropical fruit characters, including rockmelon and pineapple, along with subtle oak nuances. |
